Missing Person - Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public Assistance in Locating Luis Carlos Silva

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is still actively seeking the public's assistance in locating Luis Carlos Silva, a 51-year-old man from McKinleyville, California. Silva's mysterious disappearance was first brought to light on March 22, 2023, when the Sheriff’s Office issued a press release urging the community to come forward with any information regarding his whereabouts.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Luis Carlos Silva was reported missing by his family on March 7, 2023. Described as a Hispanic male, standing at 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with brownish gray hair, a beard, and hazel eyes, Silva was last in contact with his family on March 2, 2023. The lack of information surrounding his disappearance has raised concerns among his loved ones and law enforcement.

In a statement released by the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, it was emphasized, "Anyone with information for the Sheriff’s Office regarding Luis’ possible whereabouts should call the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office at (707) 445-7251." The authorities are urging individuals who may have seen or heard from Luis Silva after March 2, 2023, to come forward and assist in the investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office also shared a photo of Luis Silva taken in February 2023, in hopes that it may jog someone's memory or lead to new leads in the search for the missing individual.

As the search for Luis Carlos Silva continues, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office remains dedicated to unraveling the mystery surrounding his disappearance and bringing closure to his family and loved ones.
